Role Expectations and Responsibilities
This home-based role offers the occasional opportunity to travel to our Southfield, Michigan office. Your mission will be to:
- Interpret creative briefs and requests, turning them into executable, innovative concepts.
- Craft clear, persuasive copy for an array of marketing channels including email, social media, print, and more, ensuring alignment with our brand and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to brainstorm and implement compelling copy solutions.
- Uphold and adapt our brand’s voice across different platforms while maintaining impeccable grammar and readability.
- Present concepts persuasively to both peers and stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor junior copywriters, fostering their growth and potential.
Professional Expertise Required
- Exceptional command of the English language.
- Expertise in conceptual thinking with a strong creative portfolio.
- Ability to integrate creative efforts within marketing and branding strategies.
- Commitment to brand consistency with the versatility to adjust tone as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years copywriting experience with a portfolio demonstrating your expertise.
- Experience with B2B & B2C initiatives and multi-channel marketing.
- A track record of mentoring and leading junior team members.
- Preferred experience includes a blend of in-house and agency roles, especially within regulated industries.
